Praise for I HAVE A REASON TO SMILE

Just Tuesday I finally received 'I Have a Reason to Smile.' Not a complaint. Rather, an occasion for immediate immersion, well worth the 'experiences' of reading your work. Your poetic expressions, for me, result in a lot more than 'reasons' or 'los sonrisas.' You are indeed gifted as Nina Simone and you do sing. Words, rhythms, themes! Sometimes unnerving in their candor, (I'm saved only by the privacy of my reading them), all so direct and intimate. Ah well, it's not the first time I've been moved and discombobulated by emotive artistry. Music and poetry and beauty will do it every time. Your work is sincerely, variously lovely, exciting, and moving. Thanks for all that. - James Crossen, California

I really enjoyed this book. It has something for everyone. Young and old that doesn't matter. All can hope to be touched by this wonderful book of poetry. I am recommending this book to be read in libraries and readings. Best of luck to the Author and thanks for the book. I especially loved you poem about Agree to Disagree, it sounds like a Affirmation or Anthem. - Sharon Martin from Baltimore, Maryland
