About the Author

Born and raised in a Scandinavian background, Helen Granat has collected and been inspired by quotations since her early teens. Her earlier books Reflections for Kathryn and Wisdom Through the Ages - Book One have had favorable reviews by several noted personalities. A further interest in music has led to her composing many works for pipe organ, including orchestrations for symphony orchestras. Being the wife of a career naval officer, her travels are reflected in the varied ethnic feelings in her music. The effort has evolved into the publication of two books of Original Compositions for Pipe Organ.
