Wenberg is a wanderlust septuagenarian, now based in Coos County, Oregon. High school drop-out, railroad gandy-dancer, two years in the Marines, choker setter in the foothills of Mt Rainier, forest service look-out, firman, college/seminary instructor, fish processor (research and development) at Dutch Harbor, Alaska, skims a few of his ventures sandwiched around forty years in real estate finance and development.
Gadflies, Wenberg's second book, is a compilation of essays and poetry marketing a major turing point in his life. His first book, Atlantis, Beyond the Pillars of Hercules, is a mystery-adventure novel. Divorced, the father of four children, they have blessed him with nine grandchildren.
