About the Book

On the night of September 11, 2001, President Bush vowed to avenge terrorist attacks committed just hours prior to his Presidential Address to the Nation. The deaths of thousands and the fall of an American icon began a campaign against terrorism, which ultimately led to the end of the Taliban Government and Saddam Hussein's regime.

With written journals documenting his meetings with the Taliban, letters from the U.S embassy warning Americans of threats of an upcoming terrorist attack by al Qaeda, and photographs and interviews of the protestors/supporters of the war in Iraq, photojournalist Billy Joe Hoyle takes you through one of the most controversial times in American history.

America Divided: A Journal to War is the ultimate for the serious book collector.
