About the Book
Bill's life, from the outside, looked to be normal and mundane. Very few people were privy to his secrets. He cherished his private life and invited only a select few to share in his world. His world consisted mainly of family. They were the only ones who held all the pieces of the puzzle that made up the man. His life was a mystery to outsides. To the insiders they knew it to be a hard and sometimes sad existance. But only a few knew that.
Cancer took Bill at an early age leaving his young family to cope with their loss. During his life he had tried to be an honest, hard-working man. He left behind a legacy of good intentions and unfulfilled promises that there just wasn't enough time to complete. But in death Bill had become a bigger part of the grand scheme of things. He was no longer restricted by the weaknesses of the human body. He could do things that mortals could not. His life had now taken a different path. Death hadn't ended Bill's existence. It had just changed it. Now as a Guardian Angel he had new responsibilities and new adventures to contend with. People needed him like never before. All of his good intentions an promises would now get a chance to be realized.
About the Author
When the author's father passed away in December of 2000 it became vital for her to writer her memories down on paper. Everyday a new thought would come to the surface and everyday her writing developed and took on a life of its own. The View from Heaven was written as a tribute to the first man the author ever loved, her dad. They main character of this book was molded in the image of the author's father. With the author spending most of her time writing and taking care of her family at their home in Ohio (U.S.A.) it became a labor of love to preserve the memories of Bill (be him real or fiction).
