About the Book

It all started with Ezekiel's divine encounter by the river of Chebar. His vision of the "Whirlwind of the Lord"-accompanied with clouds, fire, wheels, creatures, lights, voices and the amber craft-was absolutely incredible. He called it all the "Spirit" of God. Was this a case of mistaken identity? I soon realized that amazingly similar detailed events recurred throughout the Scriptures.

The Whirlwind of the Lord is a timely Bible based Christian inquiry into the 'visions' and 'supernatural' events of both the Old and New Testaments. In dealing with this secular, technically advanced world we live in, the Christian is trapped in a quandary. Is the Bible current with modern views and concepts? How can we defend our faith in this complex milieu?

Confronted with this dilemma, I took the challenge to immerse myself in God's word to satisfy my perplexed curiosity. About the Author

Dr. Dave Ohlsson currently divides his time between Eastern Ontario and the Laurentian mountains of Quebec, Canada. Born and raised as a proud "Bluenoser" in Nova Scotia, Dave followed his family to Montreal, where he acquired his bachelor degree in Neurobiology (BSc) and his doctorate degree in Dentistry (DDS) from McGill University.

Over the past 20 years, he has practiced dentistry in four provinces of Canada, traveled world wide and worked in various venues and disciplines. A devout Christian, his ongoing passion for Bible study was initiated by courses in Christianity, philosophy and theology while an undergraduate in CEGEP and university. Over the years he has amassed an extensive library of various theological and religious topics.

It is his wish that this book will inspire others to reach for their Bible and embark on a divine voyage of discovery, as we all continue our spiritual growth together.
