About the Book
Dowsing or Divining are terms of times used to refer to methods of finding water (''water witching''), oil, precious metals and many other varied materials.
Cave drawings in central Algeria carbon dated at around 6000BC are thought to be the earliest documentation currently extant, which depict the use of this gift. There is extensive evidence that dowsing was used by many ancient and modern cultures including the Babylonians, Egyptians, Greeks and Nascas.
This book is about a man who was a gifted intuitive and dowser. When Dick Perrott retired from his professional career as a High School Administrator (and former science teacher), he had no idea that another whole career, as a master dowser, awaited him. Although blessed in childhood with the gift of precognition (the ability to accurately predict future events) and the ability to levitate, Dick's family milieu provided no support for development of his abilities. The outbreak of WWII and his training as a scientist led him in a completely life different direction.
Dick began his dowsing work with the usual locating of underground water streams and electrical lines, septic tanks etc. Very quickly he progressed to ecclesiastical and archeological dowsing in the United Kingdom where he had been born.
Following the Reformation, many churches in had been enlarged and redesigned. Church historians were often interested in knowing where the original alters, baptismal fonts and entrances had been. Dick was able with his dowsing processes to assist in such research.
Similarly, the advent of the "Plague'' or "Black Death" was of particular historical and sociological significance in England, as it heralded the end of the feudal system. Here,Dick would assist historians/archeologists in locating the burial mounds of the dead, and in identifying the ratio of men to women, women to children and such.
Such epedimiological information is of value in understanding how diseases are realized and what patterns of spread and mortality might be associated with diseases such as Ebola and Avian Flu. Dowsing can thus be used forensically and archeologically to energetically locate the remains of physical bodies and artifacts, and to retain that evidence in an intact condition. Conversely, arbitrary excavation might result in damaging or destroying the very evidence being sought.
As an avid lay geologist, Dick dowsed along the Bere Ferrers Penninsula, in England, to locate the original presence of individual minerals, the manner in which they had been formed, discovered and mined. Such findings were useful in establishing early trading patterns involving the Phoenicians and Romans, who took such minerals to Europe. The Pheonicians later formed the basis of the Portuguese naval fleet what circumnavigated the globe in early explorations for trade and colonization.
It rapidly became evident that Dick was not an ordinary dowser as he could connect with past events quite easily and would experience clairvoyance (the ability to see the event), clairaudience (the ability to hear the accompanying sounds whether conversations or wails of dying bodies) and clairsentience (the ability to feel the affected person/persons experience).
Fascinating and profound findings emerged from Dick's ability to go into the energy of the universe through his dowsing devices, meditation, telepathy and intuition. Thus, he accessed the suprasense and situations/experiences that had occurred as early as the thirteenth century and as recently as yesterday. Energy does not increase or decrease. It may change forms as water changes to steam, but the essence remains. The difference, with a master of Dick's evolution, is that he (or she) can experience this energetic reality regardless of distance in terms of miles or decades.
This book is compiled from the archives of his Dick's Perrott's dowsing work, and from interviews with him. It contains insights on the nature of energy, dowsing, spirituality, and healing. It's most unique feature is that it includes several case studies which clearly articulate/describe for the reader the way in which Dick accomplished his work, be it removal of spirits/disincarnate entities from a person or place, healing of a drug overdose or locating water. http://www.newearthenergies.com; joey@dowsers.com; http://spiritreleasefoundation.com
Our book also cites theoretical research insights from quantum physicists, psychiatrists, physicians and healers who have had somewhat similar experiences, or whose research has led them to believe that this universe comprises an ever expanding web of emergent cosmic consciousness. In the final years of Dick's life, his work has expanded around the world such that he had calls for his abilities from England to Indonesia, and from Alberta to New Zealand.
Marnie Bradfield wrote the book from Dick's records, archives and conversations, as well as documented research on the topic. It is our privilege to offer this book to fellow travelers on a journey embracing current and emergent issues of cosmic consciousness, through the profundity of dowsing and suprasense connectedness.
About the Author
This book was authored by two people, Richard/Dick Perrott (Dowsing Dick) and Marnie Bradfield. Dick was a master dowser and intuitive, Marnie a beginning dowser and acolyte.
Marnie, who had been employed to teach at a university in Japan, was given a misdiagnosis of cancer and was unable to fulfill her contract. There was other work for her to do!
Dick was nearly blind but had faithfully recorded work as a dowser and healer, spirit retriever and intuitive. With the support of these archives, Dick's profound insights in conversation and in actual dowsing projects, the book came into being. Sadly, Dick left this reality in January 2004. He had designed the book outline and cover and approved the contents.
Marnie did some of the research, currently available; to support the experiential findings from Dick's dowsing work. She was a great blessed by the wise and compassionate mentoring and leadership of Dick's richly gifted soul and being.
Dick was a retired high school administrator and science teacher. Marnie was a nurse who became a language teacher later in life. Both Dick and Marnie lived in, or near, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. They both have grown families and both had affiliations with Christiian communites. Their spiritual journeys have taken them to many faith perspectives, all of which seek to connect with the One Creator who enfolds us all.
Dick and Marnie offer this book to readers who, through dowsing and other journeys into the suprasense, realize that the reality of our lives is much greater than we may currently perceive. We hope that the vision and experiences of this exceptional scientist, dowser, intuitive and healer will help readers reflect on their own work in a world of enhanced knowing, healing and hope.
