About the Author

Costa Papanicolaou began his career as a commercial pilot, earning both his single and multi-engine commercial pilot licenses at the age of nineteen. Later that same year, he earned instructing certificates and worked full time as a flight instructor. Within three years, he transitioned from instructor to corporate pilot, working throughout the country. Several years later, he made his way to Houston, Texas where he enrolled as a full time student at the University of Houston earning his BA in mathematics within three years.

Costa currently resides in Houston where he is involved in a number of community related endeavors. Much of his time is spent providing support to local students as a commissioned instructor and private tutor of mathematics. Maintaining his ties with the aviation community, he offers consultation services to individuals and corporations based in the greater Houston area regarding their aviation needs. Costa also volunteers much of his free time in the nearby city of Galveston where he sits on the board of directors at the Galveston Greek Orthodox church.
