About the Author
Hassan A. Sadek was born in Cairo, Egypt in 1965. His family had moved to Kuwait in 1966. Where he spent most of his early life and later graduated from Kuwait University, Faculty of Science (BSc) with a major in Biochemistry and Minor in a Computer Science.
He completed his MSc and PhD in Clinical Chemistry at AWU, Iowa, USA. Dr. Hassan has interested in Bioinformatics and Genomics and he completed Bioinformatics (Diploma) and Genomics (Diploma) at IMT, Tampere, Finland.
He was formerly Senior Clinical Scientist in SmithKline Beecham Clinical Laboratories, Houston, Texas and Director of special projects at Iso-Tex, Friendswood, Texas. One of his great achievements was establishing a new procedure approved by US FDA and licensed to Iso-Tex in manufacturing Cisplatin radioactive drug used in treating patients in cancer research clinical trials.
He is currently a senior tutor at Medical Laboratory Sciences Department, Institute of Health Sciences, Sultanate of Oman.
