About the Book

Players from various eras of time, as well as the four corners of the earth, affects the lives of each other, as The Hand of Fate blindly spins a web, that will have them enmeshed in a destiny that will forever change their path of life.

Robert Nelson's only ambition in life is to become a pitcher in the majors of pro baseball, however a promising career comes to an abrupt end when he tests positive for drugs. Having wealthy parents, he sees no purpose in the pursuit of any worthwhile vocation, visualizing the day when he too will be wealthy by means of inheritance. Meanwhile he discovers there's a source of income in leading protest groups. His mother Doris insists he's only going through a phase that he will soon grow out of. It's a different matter with Harry, the boy's father. The gulf between the widens, as Robert continues to find more causes to lead. To add to his disgust Harry thinks he is taking advantage of a lonely woman he met, by playing the role of a gigolo. Read on.
