About the Book

A lost kitten was found in the great field by Bettypaw who was out for a walk. Bettypaw was kittenless and adopted the lost kitten who she named Alicepaw. When Bettypaw returned to the paw clan with the new kitten they all discovered that the kitten had no front claws.

As Alicepaw grew, the other kittens would tease her about not having front claws and nicknamed her Alice-No-Nails. This bothered Alicepaw until a tragic event took place in the Paw Clan that made Alicepaw very important to all in the clan due to the fact that she had no front claws.

About the Author

Working as an Industrial Fire Chief, Bill has spent most of his younger life working with children. As soccer coach, helping GSA Brownie troop, and eventually spending 15 years as a leader with BSA, Bill has gained an appreciation for the outdoors, and admires how youth of all walks of life can bring themselves to great levels when given motive, understanding, guidance and a little helping hand.
