About the Author

Sonia Downey-Hardrick is a children's book writer whose mission is to provide a way to find identity, achievement and success for the younger generation. She spent much of her childhood in Portsmouth, Virginia making up stories inside her head. As a child her favorite subject in school was art. She could draw a picture and give that picture a huge story that could go on for hours. Sonia is fascinated by children and how they think.
