About the Book

The book, as it was originally intended to be called, is a collection of inspiring poems. It has taken me some time to reflect on its contents, before putting these thoughts before you. It is a gold mine of inner wisdom for anyone seeking to understand the mysteries of life.

Life, indeed, is a real battleground from beginning to end. It is not only a war of guns, of tanks and such paraphernalia, but it is the warfare of thoughts and feelings. The author has no degree in psychology, but through inner guidance and through his poems, which he writes in his solitary moments, he has come to a deep understanding of life in a spiritual context.

You can observe, how through the years, his poems have changed, from a search for physical love, to a deep need for true spiritual love.

When the mind is silent and calm, it can then enter into a world, which is far beyond the mind. The mind is then in direct communication with the heart, and leads us to the path of wisdom. When this communication is expressed in words, in the form of poems, they describe the truth of the soul.

Arjun Bhagwandas Israni.
