About the Author

Alys M. Carrick is a native of Northern California, reared in cattle country with a depth of understanding of country life and the hazzards that can happen. She loves writing, reading, walking, riding, cooking, sewing and crossword puzzles. Her favorite craft is crocheting by which she has created many beautiful afghans for family and friends.

Several of Alys' stories are published under a psuedonym. Now retired, she and her husband enjoy a full, active life intertwined with their Church in a small town in Northern California.
