About the Book

Hawaii in 1959 was a very special, very serene, very romantic place where love is often just around the corner. Kahala is the story of a beautiful Hawaiian woman, who is the epitome of dignity, beauty, grace, and the true Hawaiian spirit. Kahala spans four generations and three decades as the rich Hawaiian islands and the strong cultural pride of the Hawaiian people are depicted in this historically romantic love story. Descriptions of the people, places and culture are explored as well as the tenderness of love that is universal and eternal.
