About the Author
Washington Ramos was born in Brazil on September 3, 1962.
He moved to Boston in 1985 and has been working in the restaurant business since then and any free time has been used in trying to put his first novel together.
He bought a house in Fort Hill, Roxbury in 1998, and sold it in 2004. He lives now with his long-time partner in Stoneham, Massachusetts while looking for their own place to buy.
People don't realize that waiting for a table in a restaurant is their own fault, because in order to seat a waiting party, another party has to be done and leave, and most people make a restaurant dining room a place to hang out. This is what creates "The Waiting List".
The point is, everyone has been in both situations: "Waiting for a Table" or "Holding up a Table".
