About the Book

The 'Journey' begins with gentle memories of childhood, and the inquiring mind of a boy who loves discovering the spiritual and physical world around him. He seeks answers, not realizing how deep and profound some of the questions are.

The story is told of struggles to live and love, and the difficulties and uncertainties encountered along the path from childhood through adulthood.

Happiness often gives sway to affliction, tragedy, and narrow escapes, but the optimism carried over from the buoyant shoulders of youth bear the man through the physical and emotional roller coaster of his life. Ultimately, the questions and uncertainties of his life are answered through a series of dramatic revelations.

About the Author

I live in the mountains of North Georgia, among the great oaks, pines, and rich plant life that abounds in this old fertile soil. The land I came to love more and more as I matured and traveled this country and the world.

Most of my life has been spent in public service- Marine, Navy 'Sea Bee', Airport Police, City Cop, County Deputy Sheriff, Private Investigator, Bounty Hunter; with assorted mundane jobs thrown in here and there to give me variety, and experience.

Then there is my life long spiritual quest. Not always an incessant theme of my everyday life, but one in which I was constantly brought back to- usually by a gentle nudge, but other time's by a kick-in-the-pants to get my attention.

My book imparts to you some of the gentle nudges and the 'kicks' I've received that have helped to shape the belief's, and convictions that I attempt to live by today.
