About the Book
What's inside this little book? A few insights, small private situations of interest shrouded in whimsy - words, words, words. Not much beyond this for those of you who crave a rush of adrenaline on a lustless afternoon. No terrorism in outer space or automobile chases to heroic rescues in the nick of time. No passions lost to innocence. Not much romance beyond a brief and desperate encounter over an old stone house. There is one well-borne and impetuous wife and a small and friendly group of ghosts, some legend and Indian magic on a hunting trip and a mystically disparaging visit to Peru. One young woman understands everything for a short contentious time, and a slick preacher more than meets his match. All-in-all, not many goose bumps captivate and dispel a reader's plaintive disposition very far beyond droll association and obtuse reference... several questions are left at bay, some through insouciance alone. The above in the hope that those of you who have already read a lot, and sometimes think about protagonists and authors on equal footing, might share a passing bond of enigmatic thought and then imagine with me for a page or two. Not for the literary faint of heart... a walk on the tame side with hope that you enjoy reading each story as they were enjoyable to write. If we can share something in this, all the better. There is nothing more I can promise you that I would wish for.
