About the Author

I am a 63-year-old Granny from Texas who would like to make a difference in one little corner of the world. My children are all grown and have blessed me with 18 beautiful grandchildren who light up my world every day. These precious children are my gift from my awesome God who also allowed His Son to die on a cross for my sins and yours.

I have always felt that children and animals are God's greatest creations. Have you ever noticed small children playing together? They don't dwell on what color they are or what name brand tag is on their clothing. They just want someone to play with. Even baby animals don't realize who their enemies are until they are taught. As adults we have a tremendous responsibility to teach our children respect for themselves and others around them. And to also teach them the simple Golden Rule and the Ten Commandments, which can help them, become conscientious adults. My dream is to not only help teach the children but all who will listen.

I am at a time in my life when memories of the past begin to surface more and more. Like others my life has been filled with some happiness, sadness, good choices, bad choices, fulfilled dreams and some shattered dreams.

But all through the ups and downs there has always been one light that has continued to burn bright; that is the light of Jesus Christ. He is not only my Savior but has become my Very Best Friend. He is always there to listen whether it is good or bad. He is my Comforter, my Counselor, my Redeemer, my Majestic, Mighty King of Kings and He died on a cross so I can have everlasting life one day.

It is my prayer that perhaps through my writings you will be touched and feel the peace and comfort only He can give you and then "Pass It On".

Don't overlook the free things of life. There are priceless gifts that charge cards and money cannot buy. Remember also, the children you hold in your arms and rock today are the adults who will hold and rock you in years to come. Have you taught them how?
