In a world where everything seems perfect, Taylor Reed is faced with a true test of character. Taylor's world begins to unravel right before her eyes, until she is offered the chance of a lifetime, a position at The New York Press. Along the way she discovers a world of adventure and the true meaning of love. Just when she thinks life is normal again, a long lost piece of her past resurfaces, testing Taylor once again.

"When One Door Closes..." illustrates the journey of self-discovery, and the chance to start over again; a lighthearted look into the destiny of true love and the meaning of life. Taylor is about to discover what happens when fate intervenes and opens doors to endless possibilites.

About the Author

Jayme Morrell was born in South Bend, Indiana, and grew up in Houston, Texas where she still resides. Writing was a part of her life from an early age, and has since become her passion. Jayme would write poetry in her journal almost daily, and then during high school, entered a monologue in her church's Fine Arts Festival and made Nationals coming in second place. It wasn't until two years ago that her writing turned in a different direction. She started writing stories, and before long ended up with a full length novel! "When One Door Closes..." is actually her second novel, and the product of previous stories written years before. Publishing her novel has been a dream come true and she hopes to begin work on her third novel any day now.
