About the Book

A 16 year old boy (Sam) looking for his place in the world, one day finds himself kidnapped by his own government and sent out to live with a woman he's never met before (Lily) while trying to bust up a smuggling ring running through the local public school.

While living in the host house Sam and Lily find themselves falling into an Illegal love. Sam also meets a single friend at school (Meghan) who shows him that not everyone is all bad.

Sam begins to get a handle on the ins and outs of his new profession and becomes especially attached to his new boss (Emmanuel). They form a bond that is held tight until an unthinkable tragedy strikes.
After that, Sam finds that anything can happen.

About the Author

Sam O'Brien was born on February 7, 1985 in Cape May Court House New Jersey. He began writing at the age of 12, working with short science fiction stories, later progressing into novels with this, his first published work.
