Stoner is the story of a teenage Marine in Vietnam.

About the Author

Steve Samples is a former United States Marine who has lived the life he writes about.

An internationally renowned stock car racing columnist who has been featured on Jeff Gordon Online, Steve is also a world class firearms instructor whose endorsements of custom pistol manufacture Wilson Combat, have appeared in Handguns Magazine, and other national publications.

A graduate of Appalachian State University, he lives in Columbia, South Carolina where he lectures South Carolina Law Enforcement Division Concealed Weapons Permit candidates on safety, combat shooting techniques, and state firearm regulations.

As a recipient of the National Rifle Association's "Defender of the Second Amendment" award in 1998, Steve remains active in pro self defense causes.
