About the Author

Andrew Field is a member of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics and is a winner of their Future Leader Award. He has taught mathematics in five different Title I middle schools and junior high schools. He is an officer in the Army Reserve and a veteran of Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. He holds a baccalaureate degree in elementary education from Northwestern State University of Louisiana and a master's degree in mathematics curriculum and instruction from the University of Mississippi. Mr. Field lives in Oxford, Mississippi with his wife, Kate, and their three daughters.
