Bootcamp: An Inspirational Memoir and Journal chronicles the life of a soldier in God's army. From basic training to promotion, the book follows one woman's experience with a challenging childhood, a young adulthood full of questions and searching, and eventually realizing how God works everything out for the good. The challenges and life lessons learned, including death, financial hurdles, and opposition from fellow Christians, are practical and a common thread that connects all humans.

The reader has the opportunity to compare Mrs. Howard's experiences with their own and feel the changes that accompany spiritual growth.

About the Author

Monica Marle Lowe Howard is a native Philadelphia, where she was educated in the public schools. She is a graduate of Lincoln University with a degree in education and psychology. Reverend Monica M.L. Howard is Pastor Partner in the ministry of the BibleWay Baptist Church of Christ of Washington, District of Columbia under the leadership of Senior Pastor Leonard M. Howard, Sr. Mrs. Howard is married to Reverend M. Howard, Sr. and has been "partners" with Pastor for twenty years. They are the proud parents of two sons, Leonard, Jr. and Lowell Montá.

Rev. Howard is assured of God's faithfulness and who she is as a child of the King and stands on Isaiah 40:28-31.
