About the Book

This book is a compilation of irreverent personal reminiscences of an Australian traveller abroad. Part the First is concerned with a series of adventures undertaken while the author was gainfully employed in the sunny United Arab Emirates several years ago.

About the Author

Abandoned by his parents in the Australian outback as a child, the author was adopted and raised in an abandoned ant-hill by a pack of lesbian numbats. This idyllic setting was disrupted by the onset of puberty, which raised some serious questions with the social dynamic and the marsupial matrons who ran the nest.

Subsequently cast forth into the world to fend for himself, our man has since attempted assimilation into normal human society a number of different times, but has yet to actually identify normality to his satisfaction.

An avowed Athiest, anti-authoritarian, anti-political and just generally anti, the author will shortly reach the ripe old chronoligical age of 32 in human years, 106 in cynic years, and 19 in hormonal years.

Believing that sarcasm is the highest form of wit, combining irony, timing, and cutting insight in one fell swoop, the author has a Degree in Sarcasm from the University of Muttaburra, and is currently studying for a Doctorate in Cynicism at the Advanced Research and Study Establishment of lfracombe.

He constantly wonders where his place in this life really is, and still has not decided what he wants to be when he grows up. He has a tragic weakness for females of all shapes and sizes (particularly petite blondes), fast bikes, and is constantly searching for the perfect cup of coffee.
