About the Book
A candid and concise expose on the development and shaping of religion, beginning with the first century church and including the modern day church, from that perspective of Roman politics and power, through what appears to be purposefully designed and promoted error. Moreover, a serious look at how those errors, through intimidation and repetition have become traditions that have systematically blinded and pulled people away from the teachings of Christ, and the Truth.
About the Author
Bishop James Allen is Pastor of Word Outreach Teaching Ministries & Fellowship, which he Founded over thirty years ago. The main thrust of Word Outreach is the Training and Support of Missionaries both at Home and Abroad in Asia and South America. Bishop Allen was born to this task, as he had Five Uncles who were all Preachers and grew up in a Bible believing, Worshipful home in Fort Worth , Texas. From a very young age he was curious about all that he had heard on Sundays and Wednesdays, and continued to study The Word during his ten year stint in the Coast Guard, after which he knew that Seminary was the next step for him. In preparing students for Missionary work his quest was to be absolutely certain that what he was teaching them was the truth, and a literal retelling of what Christ said while He was here, but not some interpretive rendering by someone who had a better idea of what The Lord said than The Lord Himself.
He continues to run the Mission here at home, as well as working in and developing the foreign mission field, helping all those he can. With all of this he still studies daily, reaching out with The Word
