We the People and Funerals

About the Book

These are two verse plays that have been presented as rehearsed readings at church Saturday evenings entertainment. We the People has the form of an oratorio for a speaking choir. It asks what is unique about the U.S. Funerals tells the story of a small town over a 35 year period, and a minister during that time.

About the Author

Clifford Swartz is Professor Emeritus of Physics at Stony Brook University, New York. He has been married for almost 60 years to a beautiful History Professor. They produced six happy and productive children. Also, over 35 books, including physics, math, history and four books of poetry.
