About the Author

Bill Onstad did not have a normal life. Practically orphaned as a child, he rose up against all odds and found himself a United States Marine. Through the battle of Midway, Guadalcanal and Iwo Jima, he learned the power of brotherhood and the importance of faith. His journey continued after the war as he found that some americans abused the rights the he and fellow marines had fought for and died to protect.
