About the Book

My Sweetest Libbie: Details of Life in Put-in-Bay, Lakeside & Detroit in 1886-87, Seen Through Love Letters presents the heart-warming story of a courtship through the never-before-published letters of two young adults, Libbie Magle and Alex Bruce. Through their eyes, we get glimpses of day-to-day life at Put-in-Bay on Lake Erie's South Bass Island, and at Lakeside, Ohio, Detroit and other small towns of Michigan during the 1880s.
