About the Book

My friend's rooster, Louie inspired this story, along with two of my cats. In this first of the series book, Louie the Rooster moves to the country where he meets his new friends Daysee and Hobbes. The cats look to the rooster for advice about the day's activities. Through the magic in his comb, Louie is able to tell them what their day will be like. He even watches out for his friend's safety.

About the Author

Eve Rompola was born and raised in Budapest, Hungary, arriving in the U.S. in her teens. After living in Bridgeport, Connecticut for many years, she eventually settled in Allentown, Pennsylvania. She lives in a townhouse with her husband, her beloved cats, and their dog. When she isn't busy working in the emergency room or the intensive care unit of one of the local hospitals, she raises orphaned, new-born kittens, bottle feeding them until they are old enough to be self-sufficient. At that time, she finds suitable homes for them.
