About the Author

He was born Oct, 24, 1975 in Osceola Arkansas. He was told to focus on God and education early in life. The separation of his parents allowed freedom to be involved in the community. Larry worked at recreational games in the community. He had an interest in instruments at an early age that was picked up from family. Larry excelled in the classroom and on the playgrounds. Larry didn’t choose the path of a musician. He liked producing, and Songwriting. Music gets the attention like nothing else. He spent time doing the hobbies everyone around was doing. Baseball, football and swimming are things he loved doing as well. Nothing has quite taken the place of music. He made mix tapes whether he was in Osceola or Virginia. He never participated in any rap battles on the bus with other basketball team members. He attended Lambuth University on a football scholarship in Jackson, Tn. He returned home from college. Everyone around rapped or sold drugs. The music industry is different than the hustles of selling newspapers, cutting yards, and pitching pennies. In 1996 Larry began to put it all behind him. He began brainstorming on the book titled "The Life I Once Lived". He wanted to own a studio, and make music. He started attended the Mississippi Community College 1998-1999. He began to Dj at Vollies Social Club, and wrote his first song titled "Life". After selling a Cd of the group The underground clicc he realized the strength of marketing. In the nineties music was selling everywhere. He has begun to write many different styles. He has been marketing and distributing his book since being published. He kept writing lyrics until 2004. He began getting the music copywritten. In 2004 he received his Associate Of Science Degree in Recording Arts at Fullsail Real World. The publisher became a member of Ascap. He worked at Bill Rase Production in Sacramento, Ca as an engineer. The music has led Larry Davis Jr is into the gospel genre.
