About the Author

Karen Petko is a graduate from the University of Western Ontario and holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Kinesiology. She is currently certified with the Ontario Kinesiology Association and works as a Certified Kinesiologist/Exercise Therapist in the rehabilitation industry. In addition to specializing in exercise program design, she is the founder of Body Kinetics (a company providing educational fitness manuals/videos and exercise equipment to the general public).

Known for her enthusiasm and professionalism, Karen is well respected by her colleagues, rehabilitation patients and personal training clients. Her expertise in fitness training is continually expanding through educational workshops/lectures, practical experience and consistent research.
