About the Book
When I took the poets heart and hand and begin writing poetry I didn't realize how much of life's experiences my mind had stored.
As an artist, with my painting it seemed I could only imitate what was already in existence, something God had created in nature: a landscape, a beautiful Magnolia, old buildings or other visual subjects that interested me.
Thanks to this God-given gift of poetry late in life, I now create word pictures from my inner self.
What my soul hears.
My heart feels.
My eyes observe.
My mind creates in poetry.
