Unfortunately for Jane, her drink was spiked with a date rape drug; by a fellow guest at the hotel they were both staying. She never saw the man, Chris, again, and neither did she intend telling anyone about her holiday nightmare. Three years later, her teenage son started subjecting women to the same ordeal and Jane wouldn’t just watch Mark do that. Ironically, Jane had to testify against her son in court and this resulted in a jail sentence . But unknown to Mark, not only had his mother been raped in the past, the man who violated his mum is also locked up in the same prison. Fate brought the two together and you can only imagine what would happen when a son comes face to face with the man that raped his mother.

Meanwhile, it was while Mark was standing trial at the Old Bailey that one of the trainee teachers in Shirley’s – Jane’s childhood friend- school was also subjected to a sexual assault.
