About the Book

There's grief in the fabulous world of superstar musicians, as singer Tony Amato thinks his adored wife Jen is dead, burned in a hotel fire. But is she? Although all evidence points to her death, she has survived, saved by a fluke during a series of explosions. Injured and amnesiac, she makes her way to an isolated northern Canadian gold mine where she finds work, and, just possibly, love. She is unaware that she is being stalked by a vicious stranger. Spurred on by a recurring dream that convinces her she has been involved in a murder, she tries desperately to regain her memory.

The despairing Tony, surrounded by friends immersed in their own problems, struggles to make a new life for himself and his children, in the face of this devastation.

Will these two make it safely through the menacing minefield of their shattered lives, and come together again?

About the Author

Jean Dell is a first generation Canadian of English and French descent. A sometime freelance journalist, she now writes suspense novels set in the theatrical and musical worlds. She also writes and illustrates children's books.

Attending university in mid-life when her two daughters were growing up, she obtained degrees in English and French literature, and journalism.

She has played the violin and viola in several Western Canadian symphony orchestras. One of her musical passions is opera, to which she was introduced in France by her Parisian mother.

Jean Dell has travelled, mostly in North America and Europe, and has lived (too briefly) in France. She now lives in Vancouver, Canada.
