About the Book

Becky, a regular teenager, painfully shy and insecure; just before her seventeenth birthday, is given a gift that awakens a great power within her. With the gift comes a massive responsibility, many times overwhelming. And she is faced with a gamut of questions. How would she save the world? Constantly reminded that the survival of the human race is in her hands, what should she do? Should she run from her fate? Or should she stand up and fight? Struggling with the decision to give up her humanity, and possibly her life, for the good of the human race, was she willing to make that sacrifice? Others, who become dear friends and a source of support, join her. Together they move through their journey, and face never-ending struggles as they strive to defeat the evil Carneto. Along the way, many mysteries are solved, and discoveries are made. Becky finds that she's much bolder and stronger than she thought. She's reunited with family she never knew existed; Clew, her twin sister, who becomes an integral part of Becky's strength, and loving parents who had been forced to leave their children as infants. With her team steadfast by her side, they find there is immense power in faith; even against insurmountable odds, with faith, you can succeed.

About the Author

I made this book just for fun at the age of 16, never really thinking that I could publish it. But as I went along and started typing more, I ended up with three books in this series. After some time, more and more people told me that I should publish it, so I decided to give it a try. I had a lot of fun writing the books, and creating the characters. I hope that everyone enjoys reading them. I ask that you read this book fully before judging it; just like people, get to know them before you judge them. It took me about a year to write each book. It was a struggle at times, but I had fun creating each part. My friends and family and my imagination inspired me. People have always told me I have a very vivid imagination, even as a very small child. My kindergarten teacher said she'd love to walk with me all day if she could, to listen to my stories. Those who believed in me and inspired me will forever be in my heart. This book is a part of me. And I am hoping that you'll fall in love with the characters, as I have.
