About the Book

I Bite into the Apple is the first book of poetry published by a powerful author who wrote her first poem at the age of five. In this collection the author reflects on society, herself, and love by addressing each topic in three sections titled, "Out", "In", and "Inside Out."

About the Author

Gina Rodriguez received her Bachelor's degree from UC Davis in Rhetoric/Communications. She also holds a Master of Arts in Education from San Francisco State University. She is currently working on a collection of short stories for her next book, attending poetry readings, and conducting poetry workshops for adults and children.
