About the Book
Drops of India is a collection of stories and photographs. The photographs link thematically with each piece of writing. The result is a glimpse into a reality free from the restraints of traditional storytelling.
The title is taken from poem 430 by Emily Dickinson. She perfectly describes the struggle to write, to produce a single drop of india (ink), which is the same struggle faced in all writing, but in particular condensed fiction forms such as postcard stories.
