About the Author
The author, Clement Chigbo, was born in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. He was educated at University of Ibadan, Nigeria, Ahmadu Bollo University, Zaria, Nigeria, The Nigerian Law School, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria, The Eugene Dupuch Law School, Nassau, Bahamas and The Universidad de Oriente, Santiago, Cuba. He is a barrister, solicitor and advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. He is also an attorney-at-law admitted to practice (Pro Hac Vice) in Turks and Caicos Islands, British West Indies. He is a Registered Associate of the Supreme Court of The Bahamas and currently practices in the leading Commercial Law Firm of Cassar & Company, Norfolk House, Frederick Street, Nassau, Bahamas. Clement Chigbo is also an adjunct lecturer in law at Success Training College, Nassau, Bahamas and the Bahamas Baptist Community College, Nassau, Bahamas. He is also the author of Conveyances, Title Searches and Allied Matters, a vital book in Property Law in The Bahamas. He has published extensively in all the newspapers in The Bahamas and is currently a weekly columnist in The Bahama Journal, a column that discusses topical legal issues. He also features regularly on radio programs in The Bahamas, discussing current legal issues of concern to The Bahamas and the international community.
