About the Author

J.G. Smyles was born and lives in the Cotswolds, England. It is an area of outstanding natural beauty, tranquillity and adventure.

One of her first memories were of unexplained supernatural phenomena, she was alone in her bedroom, when 'something' stroked her foot, from then onwards, she needed to understand what it was that she had experienced.

Her need for an explanation spurred interest in science and technology. No satisfactory explanation was ever given and even though she had many more similar experiences, she let go of the desire to understand them.

Maturity brought a more sound, less fearful approach to the world of the supernatural and over the years she has been hired to investigate many supernatural disturbances. She has found a common denominator that runs true through them all, that is one of fear On October 31st 1997 she was talking about a recent investigation when she experienced the most profound visitation and knew she had to write about it in such a way that even the most hardened sceptic would just have to take note.

Kisses Burn, a life adventure story, that could so easily be a tale once told over the camp fire, is not a reflection of her life or anyone else's, yet all of what has been written in this book, really did happen.

The Future Her first novel, Kisses Burn, took five years to complete. It took three of those five years to conquer dyslexia. All she can say is, The harder you work, the easier it gets. She anticipates the second book in this series, A Jutting Jaw, a psychological thriller of the most powerfully disturbing nature, where the conviction of the perpetrator is not paramount, to be completed by the beginning of the academic year '03 when, at the age of 38 she will commence her studies in law that she may be able to fulfil a life long ambition.

During the course of '04 she plans to release The Truth Revolution, the third book in this series, provides for the benefit of earth's inhabitants, a glimpse into heaven that we may be ready.

The magazine, Spirit 24/7 available through the internet, exciteme.biz, will continue to run and the booklets, Money is an Entity, and, How to Please Her, will be released during the course of the summer/autumn of 2003.
