About the Book

The pursuit of a "Fitness lifestyle" can be quite intimidating to many people. This is particularly true for those who wish to just start out for the first time, for those who are severely overweight and out-of-shape, and for those who have had difficulty in committing to a fitness program in the past. From my experiences though, I have come to believe that a large part of the problem is that we too often associate a "Fitness lifestyle" with a "Spartan lifestyle". There are not that many people who relish the thought of beginning a strict diet or that look forward to mandatory gym workouts four to six times a week. Of course, some individuals might but certainly not everyone. But we are conditioned to believe that in order to attain the necessary physical conditioning we truly desire, we will also need to acquire the appropriate mental discipline. Complicating the issue further is that many individuals simply do not have the self-esteem to believe that they can succeed in a fitness regimen anyway.

But as you read this book, it is my intention that you may learn how easy it can be for anyone, yourself included, to enjoy a fitness lifestyle. But you will have to first begin by adopting a new mental attitude for it is nearly impossible for your body to maintain a program that your heart isn't into and that your mind doesn't accept. Therefore, while you'll find that both regular exercise and proper dietary habits remain as pillars f a fitness lifestyle, you will learn how to alter the process in order to fit your very own individual preferences and goals.. You'll be able to participate in those activities you enjoy while also learning ways to become more active in your daily lives. While lowfat, healthy food items are encouraged for you sot consume, you are still able to eat nearly anything you desire as long as moderation is followed. Even better, you may learn a few ways to convert "guilty" meal favorites into "guiltless" versions that cam be far healthier for the body. Optimistically, you'll be able to successfully regulate your own bodyweight one day without having to stop and think about exercising and keeping active or without worrying over how much to eat. A point will come when this will come very naturally to you because these fitness lifestyle habits have become engrained into your daily lives.

So please enjoy the collection of advice and guidelines in this book for you to read, and find out how eating a chocolate-chip cookie could even possibly be involved with a healthy approach towards losing weight and staying in shape for a lifetime. Bon Appetite!
