About the Author

Bob Mackura has been a spiritual teacher, coach, and mentor to many whose lives have reached a crossroads and are ready for significant change. Over ten years ago, he founded and was the spiritual director of a non-denominational spiritual sanctuary dedicated to helping others facing accelerated spiritual awakening. Along with a degree in theology and psychology, Bob is a Reiki Master, Rebonding and massage therapist, guest college lecturer, workshop leader, and has a private practice as a spiritual counselor. He has been drawn to work with those who are "on the cusp" and ready to move to a new level of consciousness.

At his sanctuary, Bob shared his journey with many others who were struggling to go beyond their symptoms and discover their own true path. They brought an urgent desire to grow, deep frustrations, provocative spiritual questions, life-threatening illnesses, suicide attempts, career and family issues, rape and incest stories, lifelong secrets, burnouts, life-changing insights, spiritual traumas and awakenings, and debilitating depression. His affiliation with the Spiritual Emergence Network brought many who were encountering wide varieties of spiritual awakenings. A number were healers searching for their own healing and deeper meaning in their lives.
