About the Book

If someone would have told me ten years ago I'd be writing a book about my experiences living with a one hundred thirty five pound wolf dog in suburban Houston, I would most definitely have asked them what planet they had just come from. Even though I always have had a warm heart for animals in general, I could never have imagined taking on a creature whose cunning and spirited attitude would keep me on my toes "twenty-four-seven".

This book has an interesting and natural storyline from the rescue phase to daily up and down clashes of acceptance by one another; a person's ultimate one on one relationship; and the spiritual connection between man and animal.

This book was written with the thought and admiration for the wolf dogs and their owners all over the world who both go the extra mile trying to co-exist in a world that has little understanding of this type of bond and relationship.

Enjoy....

Dedicated to Lobo, my buddy.

About the Author

I have always felt the creative urge to write during my life but really never had the incentive to do so. From time to time I would find myself losing interest with the subject matter about halfway through my story. These were usually human interest in nature and even though very intriguing, lacked a continued attention from one chapter to the next.

Then one day I found myself in a perplexing situation with regards to saving an animal from a perilous fate. I would rescue a young wolf that no one wanted and take him to my suburban home in Houston. What drove me to do such an unbelievable thing? This was so unlike me. It was almost as if some force had taken control of my spirit and was leading me into an unknown direction.

Little did I know that what was to unfold in the years to come, would affect my life forever and inspire me to share my experiences with the rest of the world.

This then is a written account of those experiences.
