About the Book

The Lighthouse Keeper is an amusing book that follows the author's adventures and failures, his loves and his travels as he tries to find his soul mate and as he tries to find a meaningful career. The author has enjoyed some unique experiences and he is able to describe these in a very humourous way which makes the reader feel that this story is being told to him personally.

About the Author

The author, Trevor Renwick was born in the North of England in 1946. Education was at English Public School. With a not very inspiring academic record, he tried his hand at Hotel Management, but gave that up, packed a backpack and headed off for Australia.

His travels eventually landed him a job in the oil industry in the Middle East. After 30 years of adventure and travel he has now retired and lives with his wife, Joanne, in the small coastal town of Hermanus in South Africa.
