About the Author
Loran E. Nightingale: Born August 9, 1932 in Stanton, California. He spent his early years in Louisiana and Texas. He graduated from high school in 1948 at age 15 at Kern Academy in Shafter, California. Loran played his guitar and sang over station KWSO in Wasco, California. Loran would be the first one to admit that he drank too much for too long. God has restored his sanity, and his last drink of alcohol was one July 16, 1987. Loran says, "if there was a way of getting a true count I would be in the Guinness Book of World Records. I know that I have sung more songs for less money than anyone anywhere at any time!"
