About the Book

The story line takes place prior to the 1950's, when airlines were just beginning to spring up around the country just after WWII, One such airline starting up in Chicago was looking for young women to be part of that airline.

However there were a certain criteria that you had to meet, to be one of the chosen few who would be able to call themselves a "Stewardess." You had to be a "drop dead gorgeous female," otherwise you had to seek employment elsewhere.

The training was tough and demanding if you wanted to be part of the glamour and romance and the rewards would be worth it.

There were drawbacks, a stalker who despised any woman who called themselves a stewardess would go out of his way to do them bodily harm like blowing them to smithereens along with everyone else.

About the Author

Without airline experience, I would have never been able to write this novel. I was fortunate to be in the right place at the right time, as a general aviation pilot I had no transport airline flying. Thanks to certain people, they took a chance on me, and I am grateful and thankful that they did. I never once regretted the years spent doing what I always wanted to do, flying airplanes, no matter how much the pay was. Many were not as lucky as I was.
