God was alone! In the days before all beginnings. Infinity had passed. An eternity with no beginning! The universe was empty, void. No life or existence anywhere save for God Himself. For eons and beyond He had conferred with His two other selves, the Word (His only Begotten - John 1:1-5 & 14; I John 5:7; Rev. 19:13; Heb. chapt. 1 & 11:3; Col. 1:12-20; II Peter 3:5) and the Spirit (the Breath of Life - Ps. 104:29 & 30; Job 27:3, 26:13 & 33:4) making plans, comparing notes, and waiting for the right time (Eccl. 3:1-8). And the time was almost here! He had waited for so long that even HIS patience had nearly run out. But, He would permit no failures. His creation should have no cause to reproach Him. All things must be done at the proper times. Order and peace shall be ruling forces in His universe. For such is the law of His existence. He, alone, would be responsible for His creation. Therefore, everything shall be done properly and in order. All His creations must be perfect...
When the time was right, God took thought and the Word took somewhat of the clouds of heaven and formed it in the shape He desired and God spoke, and the Spirit breathed the breath of life; and behold! A living creature! Conscious, self-willed and intelligent. Full of wisdom and beauty. He was a mighty angel, twenty feet tall with wings white as snow. Every precious stone was his covering. He was named Lucifer and he walked up and down before God in the midst of stones of fire. He was perfect in all his ways (Ezek. 28:13-15), innocent and pure and full of the glory of God. He looked at God. And God sang for joy (Zeph. 3:17). Yet the Spirit had spoken to the Word saying, “…From this life shall come death. Not only the deaths of multitudes, but thine own life is forfeit as well…”; thus, there was a shadow in God's heart! Time and events pass that this book explores
concerning the goings on of Lucifer in the heavens…
Then it came into the heart of God to make a new thing that would bring great joy and happiness. The last dark, empty spot in His universe would be filled with such light and glory to outshine all others before it. The greatest, final, and most wondrous act of all was about to unfold. God called the angels and the representatives of all worlds to come together; and Michael spoke to them saying, "Behold, it has entered into the hearts of my Father and myself to create a new world, greater and unsurpassed by all that has gone before. Its inhabitants shall be made in our own images, after our likenesses, and shall be called 'Man' and 'Woman' (Gen. 1:26&27, 5:1-3 & 9:6; Phil. 2:5-8; Col. 1:15.)"
God dismissed this assembly to make His plans; however, Lucifer stayed to include himself. (Lucifer had seen himself involved in this new creation as he had been in all creations before. His heart had lept with GREAT pride as he had thought, “…Just imagine it. Creating a being in the image of God! Surely all creation would sing praises to my glory for thousands of years to come…”) However, Micael spoke and said, “Nay, Lucifer, because man shall be created in God's own image he shall be closer to God's heart than any other which has gone before. Therefore this work cannot be shared with any created being. We must do this alone. Go thy way and be at peace." Lucifer did leave, but with great anger in his heart; and as Michael watched Lucifer go, Michael said, “It has begun.” Then the Spirit said, “Yet this, too, is necessary as all the universe must know the truth. All individuals shall decide for themselves who to follow. Many shall fall from grace into destruction; but the rest shall obtain greater knowledge and joy when it is finished.” Michael wept as He said, “I know.” And the shadow in God’s heart grew great.
It later came to pass that Micael spoke, calling Lucifer to “…stand forth. This is thy day of judgment; and I am thy Judge!” Lucifer went and stood in the midst of the gathering crowd as Micael said, “ Thou hast spoken against me and Gabriel, thy brothers; against God and the government of all creation; against the law and the peace which God has created. Thou hast inspired rebellion and dissention amongst the angels of God and hast deceived them with thy lies. Also, thou claimest to be greater than God in that thou sayest thy government would be greater than God's government. Therefore thou must answer before all of heaven. What sayest thou to these accusations?"
This was only one of Lucifer’s opportunities to acknowledge his pride and repent. To see Michael sitting on His throne and to hear Him speak these words very nearly caused Lucifer to flee in a blind panic. And, as the Holy Spirit moved upon his heart (quickening his conscience, convincing him of the errors of his position), Michael held His breath in anticipation. All future events pivoted on this moment. Should he repent, much evil will be avoided. If not, pain, sorrow, sickness, death and destruction will result. And, almost, Lucifer did repent. He knew he was in the wrong. He knew none could fight against God and succeed. But, as he looked at the faces of the angels and heard the thoughts of those who trusted him, he realized that they had much confidence in him (though they also were afraid of God's judgments). Yet their confidence gave him courage and his pride prevented him from humbling himself before them. Then Michael sighed and in His face was much sorrow. Lucifer had made his decision...
In this book, When Angels Fall From Heaven, the reader will see thru Scriptural references the many great prophecies unfold (in detail & picture form), the love God has for mankind and the humble way God became a man and walked on this earth “by faith & not by sight” (II Cor. 5:7), thereby showing us how to live. You will learn the many ways Lucifer caused turmoil in the heavens, then on earth (renamed Satan) tried to redefine and stop mankind from seeing/knowing the depth of God’s love. The reader will gain a better understanding of how the feelings of pride and jealousy placed Lucifer on the path of self-destruction that not only got him kicked out of heaven but ultimately lead to his last act of defiance on earth. You will feel the heart-wrenching agony that went on in heaven at what they were witnessing below on earth; and you will know the courage of a heart devoted to Jesus as Gabriel faces off the Almighty, stopping God from taking Jesus off that cross His own laws had placed Him on.
Lastly, the reader will get a thorough glimpse into the terrible events that will be occurring in the last days of this worlds existence, hear the count down as Jesus secures those who chose God’s love over what this world had to offer and know the joy of the redeemed.

About the Book
This is a story of creation. This is a story of what happens when one of God's creations rebels against Him and others into rebellion as well. This is a story of how "all things work together for good for those who love God". This is a story of how Satan's existence fits into God's plan of creation. This is a story of how God creates a race of beings that will constantly grow, throughout all eternity, in knowledge, power, wisdom and righteousness, with no limits to what they could eventually accomplish. This is a story of how Satan unwittedly assists in this (that without the temporary existence of Satan these beings could not exist).
This is not only a Bible story; it is a BIBLE STUDY COURSE.
This book is for those who read the Bible for themselves with the desire to learn the truth. It is not intended for those that read only what their religious leaders tell them to read and then discard all other scriptures that disagree with their beliefs. All things should be tested according to the Word of God. Men make mistakes and are not infallible. All beliefs should be tested individually by the reader to confirm or disconfirm their validity. It is the desire of the author that the readers of this book will not just read what is written but will study each and every reference in order to more completely understand the subject matter under examination. [I do not believe that the Bible should be interpreted according to an individual's beliefs; but rather an individual's beliefs should be examined in detail according to the Bible's teachings. One should not change Bible truths to match what he or she believes. Rather, one's individual beliefs should be changed (if necessary) to match what the Bible says.]
May the Holy Spirit guide you in your search for truth and may the Bible prove itself that what truths you have may be reinforced (and any erroneous beliefs may be discarded in favor of true Bible doctrines); for only those with a true knowledge of scriptures will be able to survive in these last days - Isa. 33:6.
About the Author
David Jackson Starr, born April 30, 1962 in Abilene Texas was born and raised Seventh Day Adventist. Though he no longer believes in the Adventist Church, he still believes in the divine authority of the Bible and in the Seventh-Day Sabbath of the fourth commandment (Saturday).
Practically raised on the Bible since birth, David believes in the divinity of Jesus Christ; that God, the Creator, came to the earth as a man and lived the life of a human being subject to all human woes and weaknesses; was crucified for our redemption, dead and buried and was raised from the dead and is in heaven now, continuing the work of our salvation by mediating between God and man.
David also believes that the Bible is the only truth, the only sure word for this world, that all things should be tested by its pages; that the Bible is in fact God's will given to a fallen humanity so that we can have the opportunity to learn and to escape from the evil times ahead.
David lived in various cities in Texas for ten years before moving to Arkansas. After four years in Arkansas, he went to an Adventist Church Academy in Mississippi for nine months. From there he moved to Illinois and lived in the Chicago suburbs for about seven years, the last three of which were spent in Aurora, Ill. He had moved away from home and was taking college courses in computer programming.
From there he moved to Phoenix, Arizona and lived for eight years. The last four years of which he worked as an Inventory Control Clerk in a warehouse and was able to purchase his first house. He also decided to begin writing this book.
That's when all the trouble began.
David will tell anyone that he believes that an invisible force has been actively trying to prevent the completion of this book.
First he lost his job. Then his car broke down and his house went into foreclosure. Then he and his fiancŽ broke up.
But, whenever a door is closed another will open. His grandmother, Veneta M. Gregory Trevino (who lived in Mtn. Home, Arkansas), came down with a terminal disease (Parkinson's) and his mother, Jodie Starr, lost her job in Illinois. Jodie decided to come to Arkansas to take care of her mother. After a year or so, they sold Veneta's house and moved to the east coast where they found six acres of uncleared land for sale. They decided to try homesteading (to make it a self-sufficient mini-farm). David decided that he had nothing to keep him in Phoenix and he, also, mved to the east coast to help build and develop the farm. [Currently they raise dairy goats (registered, full blood Nubians) for milk and meat, a vegetable garden, geese and guineas (for eggs) and two extremely intelligent guard dogs.]
After almost two years of clearing the land, setting up a single-wide mobile home, installing the septic system and well, David was finally able to get back to writing this book on a part time basis. Being limited on funds, it took time to be able to afford a typewriter (which broke down after about two years, but a friend sold him a used typewriter which turned out to be better than the new one). Then David's aunt (his mother's twin sister) and her oldest son, Richard, gave David's grandmother an $800.00 computer, which David's cousin had built from scratch. This allowed David to finally finish this book and the rest is history.
