Writing waited to select me until life had taught me enough lessons to express a realistic opinion or view of the human condition. Alcohol as a personal, addicting experience was a good teacher. I, as is true for other humans, have made many errors in judgment and more than a few ignorant choices. I have lived long enough to have met a variety of human beings and their approach to life. From these encounters, which offered a harsh education to a seeker traveling on "Education's Road", I found my inspiration: The learned and the ignorant, the stupid and the brilliant, the common and the Holy, the pretty and the ugly, the perverted and the decent; for each of these encounters I am grateful, for they directed my feet on "Education's Road", giving the material for this book.
