About the Book

Iris Palmer heads up the investigation department to find her assailant of the Police Chief, George Christoffelious.

A deadly game of cat and mouse evolves around a drug baron, Bruno Santanello, and a gay man called Godfrey Taylor. Each insists that the loot from the heist belongs to them. Also caught up in the drug trafficking is a youth, Sweet Bloody Andrew. He infiltrates into the gang and does his own bit of peddling; only he sells the drugs to his sister- at a price.

Felicia's modeling career supports her habit, a habit that off sets her career and sends her into a downward spiral of narcotics and she rejoices in the day her brother intervened. Sweet Bloody Andrew tries to undo the misadventure and nearly comes undone himself. A gun is pointed at his head.

A fire in the Landsbourg Hall wreaks havoc on the lives of the rich and famous but subsequently sheds light on the mystery and Iris Palmer makes a connection.

About the Author

Iris Innes was born in Brisbane, Queensland in 1948. She is married with four children who have all grown up and now pursue their own dreams. She will also be celebrating her 40th wedding anniversary this year.

Iris has completed several college courses to further her career. Her talents as an author include several poems, which are based on the Internet and the International Library of Poetry.

Sweet Talk is her third novel.

She currently resides in the Redlands.
