About the Book
Truth in Numbers attempts to answer why Genesis is the first book of the Bible (as opposed to one of the other books being first) as well as to reveal along the way insights into the plan of creation.
These insights are found through use of the ancient art of numerical interpretation (gematria), as well as the use of interpretation of secrets (Kabbalah). Many well known Jewish sources are quoted throughout this book.
It is laid out in a portion-by-portion fashion going through the book of Genesis. This is so that the reader can learn and discuss a part of a particular portion (parashah) of Genesis, without having to read the whole work.
